This is a momentous occasion and one that evidences God’s favor and blessings. The story of Genesis began in 2004, from a group of 30 people to a growing and thriving congregation today.

Our ministries are extensive from small groups, college prep tutorial services, youth and children’s ministries, a growing Pre-K to Grade 12 school, among others. We have extended our hands in support to missions in Latin America, Asia, Africa and the West Indies.

Genesis has been engaged locally, in ministries that impact the less fortunate and vulnerable in our communities. We are eternally thankful to our Lord and to you, our faithful congregants and supporters. We could not have achieved this much or reached this far without you. Today we dedicate this facility to the Lord.

Thanks to Bishop Rick, Pastor Kathy Thomas and the congregation of Abundant Life Church for making it a sacred space. We are honored by the confidence you have shown in entrusting us with the responsibility of carrying on this legacy.

Genesis, as we look to the future, God has incredible things ahead for us. “Eye hath not seen, neither ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.”

The mission is before us. The vision is inside of us. The responsibility is in our hands. God has called us to reach higher. He has empowered us with all the resources to fulfill this mission. As His Word says “He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.”

With God all things are possible. Let us continue to be that Bible-based, compassionate church that is empowered by the Holy Spirit to transform lives.
